国防部：更多“生命之舟”提供高质量公共安全产品
MND: Providing High-Quality Public Security Goods with More “Arks of Life”
8月28日下午，国防部举行例行记者会，国防部新闻发言人张晓刚大校答记者问。
记者：2010年8月，“和平方舟”号医院船首次走出国门，为到访国家提供医疗服务。今年8月也是医院船执行“和谐使命”15周年，发言人能否介绍近年取得的成就。
Question: PLAN hospital ship Ark Peace made its maiden overseas voyage in August 2010, and provided medical service to the countries it visited. We just celebrated the 15th anniversary of Mission Harmony conducted by PLANS Ark Peace this August. Could you brief us on the hospital ship’s achievements in recent years?
张晓刚：2010年以来，“和平方舟”号医院船高扬仁爱之帆，先后10次执行“和谐使命”任务，航程32万余海里，遍及3大洋6大洲，到访52个国家和地区，提供37万余人次医疗服务，用大爱仁心播撒“希望火种”，与到访国民众结下深厚情谊。今后，中国海军将继续执行“和谐使命”任务，用更多的“生命之舟”提供高质量公共安全产品，续写践行全球安全倡议、服务构建海洋命运共同体的温暖篇章。
Zhang Xiaogang: With the spirit of benevolence, PLAN hospital ship Ark Peace has completed 10 iterations of Mission Harmony since 2010. It has sailed over 320,000 nautical miles and visited 52 countries, spanning three oceans and six continents. The ship has provided medical service to more than 370,000 people. With great love and compassion, it has sown the “seed of hope” and forged deep bonds with the peoples of the countries it visited. Going forward, the PLA Navy will continue to carry out Mission Harmony, provide high-quality public security goods with more “arks of life”, and write a heart-warming chapter on implementing the Global Security Initiative and building a maritime community of a shared future.
